Dragging My Feet

"Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest." -Proverbs 6:6-8

Sometimes I feel like that's just what I'm doing. Dragging my feet. I get so caught up in the everyday life and sadly myself that my home goes to the wayside. I'm not going to lie, this cleaning challenge I joined has been HARD! I did so good for the first half of the month, but as it got later in the month, the more I had going on in family activities that took us out of the home. When the activities increase, I find an equal increase in the laziness that seems to come so naturally to me. I keep reminding myself why I started this challenge and who I'm doing this for. So today, I'm making a commitment to push through the last of the challenges, no excuses (I have many). How are you ladies pulling through out there?

  2. I feel ya, every time I turn around, more toys are being pulled out. I've learned it's best to let the toys go until he goes to bed. I've been working on getting my son(3) to pick up with me with a clean up song. Now he just sings the song without the clean up. Some day! Praying for you and your struggles.
